Moving on....

Remember, it’s ok to not feel ok

Going back to work and moving on can be challenging and is not always easy.

Hypnotherapy can help you to set strong boundaries and use resourses to support you every step of the way.


This may be a time when others think that because your cancer treatment is over that everything is ‘back to normal’ when in fact it can be a difficult period of reflection, processing what has happened and re-evaluating what is important to you.


You may feel angry if you are struggling to carry out your normal tasks, worried about how friends and colleagues see you, guilty that others have had to take on some of your chores or work or anxious about your own financial situation.


It is important to acknowledge and validate any difficult feelings you might have.

Talk about them with the people you trust.


Be kind to yourself and implement plenty of self-care in your life and if you return to work in your breaks and outside of work.


It is also important to recognise that sometimes returning to work is not the best thing right now,  give yourself permission to stop and re-evaluate if needed.
